1. Who we are

SetMaster Pro is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom. For Steeple Audio specifically, general enquiries go to john@steepleaudio.com. For data protection requests and complaints, the controller contact for the whole business is privacy@setmasterpro.com - kept as a single point of accountability rather than split by service.

2. What we collect

2.1 Free-fix enquiries

Church or organisation name, contact name, email address, a link to a sermon or episode (if provided), any message you add, and your marketing consent choices. No account or password is created for the free fix.

2.2 Subscription data (if you continue to the paid service)

Stripe customer and subscription ID, plan and status, billing history (amounts and dates only - never card details), and billing country.

2.3 Audio files

Audio submitted for mastering is processed on the same cloud infrastructure that processes DJ mixes for SetMaster Pro's core product (Railway Object Storage, EU). We do not listen to, transcribe, analyse, or use the content for any purpose beyond producing your mastered file. Files are deleted automatically 24 hours after your master is made available, the same retention rule the core product uses.

2.4 Technical data

IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and UTM/referral data from the link you arrived on.

3. How we use it, and on what legal basis

• - Responding to your free-fix enquiry and delivering the mastered file - necessary to take steps you requested before any contract exists (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• - Providing the paid subscription once you sign up - contract performance.
• - Payment processing - contract performance.
• - Fraud prevention and abuse protection (e.g. rate-limiting submissions) - legitimate interests.
• - Marketing emails about the service - consent, only where you have ticked the relevant box. You can withdraw this at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
• - Tax and accounting records - legal obligation.

4. Who we share it with

The same processors as SetMaster Pro's core product: Supabase (database, EU), Railway (audio storage and processing, EU/US), Stripe (payments, US, Standard Contractual Clauses in place), and Resend (email delivery, US, Standard Contractual Clauses in place). We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Retention

• - Free-fix lead data: retained for up to 24 months from your last contact, or deleted sooner on request.
• - Audio files: 24 hours after your master is made available.
• - Subscription and billing records: 7 years (UK legal requirement).

6. Your rights

UK and EU contacts have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under UK/EU GDPR. US contacts (California in particular) have rights to know, delete, and correct their information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising - we do not sell or share data for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. Every marketing email includes a working, immediate unsubscribe link, in line with the US CAN-SPAM Act. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@setmasterpro.com.

7. International transfers

Data may be processed in the UK, EU, and USA. Transfers to the USA are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses with each processor.
